Cross Walk

On Friday, June 10th we completed the fourth section of the cross walk around the perimeter of Russellville. Beginning at 122nd and Halsey we proceeded southbound to Division Street.

Our prayer during this time has been simple – “God, touch hearts as we take the symbol of your grace out onto the streets of our community”. Little did we know how much our own hearts would be changed and that revival would break out in our own lives as we took this step of faith, following what we believed God was calling us to do!

Reflecting on prior cross walks brings to mind an assortment of names, faces and events we encountered along the way. We remember Brian, a homeless man, who allowed us to pray with him as we passed the corner where he stood. His arm was bandaged because he had been mauled by a dog. Within a few moments, we were able to minister the love of God and know that this man’s life was impacted for Christ. Read more
